(I don't mean to point fingers and Ember if you don't appreciate me using your avatar as an example let me know and I'll take it off <3 kay?)
Avatars stretch the board or use a lot of space, for instance Anubis her avatar is just the right size- it doesnt' stretch or pull on the post at all, on the other hand Ember's avatar is a very large actual photo that takes up so much space and makes it less appealing to read the post. Personally I think there should be an avatar size limit like for example 150X300 px size. Or something like that.
That way we don't, and they don't, have the problem with people feeling their post is less interesting/appealing to read and won't post back. Since we want everyone to eventually meet each other? That'd make it easier and better.

There is coding up that resizes all avatars. I on the other hand have had this issue. It is an issue with Internet Explorer. I downloaded Google Chrome and Anubis uses Firefox and there is no issue with either server, it is purely an issue with Internet Explorer.
