Nightfall left the moonlight glittering her back and face. On the outside she was beautiful with long curly hair but on the inside she was a hateful bitch. Truly someone tainted by their past. As she traveled upwards she kept staring backwards as if she was trying not to be seen. That wasn't the case she just wanted to make sure someone wasn't there. She's not one to be followed and she'd kill the first person who even tried to.
XXXFurther she pushed on into the tops finding a patch of rock that was smooth enough to stand on without being all sideways and shit. So there she stood staring out over both sides with a full view. The moonlight was beautiful and the mountains odd. She closed her eyes to rest a bit. Don't dare frighten her. That'd be as bad as a stampede of elephants.
[OOC- open thread. I'm sorry the post is crappy! They will get better :D]

[Ooc; Oh my goodness, thank you someone else who doesn't have a 3000 average word count. xD]
A beautiful roan mare made her way up the snow blanketed slopes of Maraji Mountains. The Arabian gracefully jumped from ledge to ledge, slowly but surely making her way up the mountain side. Her dark coat stood out against the gleaming white snow, making her a perfect target for any seeking havoc. But no one who had heard of Maia would dare face her: her bipolar mood that shifts with no warning, the loss of her sanity years ago, the destruction she could cause at a moments notice, the wrath they would face for challenging her. Maia's deep blue eyes were set on the peak of the mountain, only a few more bounds away. Her next ledge was a great leap away for most average sized-horses liked Maia. She took a few steps back and took a deep breath, the cold winter air burning her lungs. In an instant, she took a few steps before her back legs launched her into the air, her front hooves leading the way. Her front feet landed on crunchy snow, her back hooves barely clipping the edge of the ledge coated with ice. Maia panicked, failing to regain her footing. The blue roan mare began to fall backwards, until a heap of snow formed together and pushed Maia forward by her hind quarters. All four hooves securely landed on the ledge as the heap of snow fell. "That was too close for my comfort." Maia muttered between snorting profusely trying to catch her breath. The mare took a moment to regain her composure before continuing to scale up the side of the mountain. Maia finally reached the top of the mountain, her body relaxing with the relief that she had made it. She made a full circle with her body, gazing at the amazing moonlight view. But a figure in the distance caught her eye: another horse. Maia's ears perked forward with interest as she slowly made her way towards the mare. "Who are you, and what brings you here?" Maia shouted once she was in range of the other mare. Her pupils slowly filled her eyes, consuming any trade of color that once remained.

Kirah's face suddenly darkened as another came to scene. She heard the mare early, faintly the snorting, and now she was on sight. Instantly Kirah's eyes rolled and she stared harshly. Waiting for the other mare to notice her existence. Once the mare did Kirah did but merely snort and turn her head away from the mare. 'Dammit! Maybe she'll go away.' Kirah's mind slipped into an absense. For a moment she wanted to send Maia plummiting to her death down the step slope on the otherside of the mountain she and Kirah had both just climbed but mere moments ago.
Kirah took in a deep breathe and exhaled slowly, fog surrounding her muzzle and view, turning her head back to the mare she spoke softly- almost as if she was actually a kind person- "Kirah!" giving a nod of her head speaking loud enough so the other mare could hear. She wasn't going to move from her spot to greet the other mare without having to yell. No if the other mare wanted conversation she'd come. "Just wandering about. What about you?" that was directed to both the questions but some mares aren't smart enough to figure that out.
Quickly Kirah turned her head back forwards to look out over the valley she was just watching a few moments ago. Keen eyes scanning it for any sign of life. It was far down the mountainside and way deep in the cannon like valley that the moonlight caught a glimpse of something that quickly ran away. Kirah just wandered. Wandered what it'd be like to not have to deal with others.

High in the skies where the wind swept swiftly throw the clouds and the air boasted a cool crisp touch that left the tips of his wings frosting did the white stallion watch over his land. Mountainous, climbing high into the sky, jiggered, loose rocks made for dangerous endeavors. Any horse -- or animal -- foolish enough to wander about the lands were either insane or extremely brave. There had been a reason the Maraji Mountains stayed uninhabited for so long before Marrok fell in love with his new home they where exceedingly treacherous. In just the few months time that he claimed theses lands as his Marrok found numerous dead animals, all of them could not hold their footing very well so to see two mares scaling his mountain gave him a giddy kind of feeling.
Both mares were extraordinary looking and while one was as normal as normal could look she did have a striking built and appearance. Raven black hair, soft and silken looking, with a coat of gray, not the dirty kind or the kind littered with dapples but a smooth, seamless color that swept her body as beautifully as the waves of a calm pond. The mare was petite, slender and almost lanky but while many females could not pull such a feat off this one did exceedingly well. Now the other female, she was larger in size and shape, not that she looked fat mind you but her body was perfectly proportioned, muscled but not overly much and while she was more muscled then Marrok he was taller then her and maybe a bit stronger then her. This mare on the other hand had a coat color he had never seen before, an array of colors that just mixed well together in such a way he could not help but admire her for her grace and defined beauty.
For a while longer, he hovered there, keeping in the puff of cloud as not to alarm the females or they might become frightened and fall to their doom. Doom, what a sad little word but it held more meaning then more words did. Just the sound of DOOM made someone feel dreadful, sad, lost and alone. Marrok would have to use the word more often. This was also his chance to claim females because that snooty little dessert stallion Anubis was getting all the girls. He even saw him talking to Shea that worthless bag of bones. Why her father did not kill her the moment the foal was born was beyond him. However, back to the mares at hand.
Carefully Marrok angled his body down and slowly flew to the ride where he knew a small clearing was. Once there the white stallion landed softly and gracefully down with his front hooves sinking into the grass and dirt before his back quarter followed suit. Muscles danced as he moved, bunching and pulsing with each step. In time, he entered the small area the girls found themselves in and stood back to watch and wait, not wishing to alarm them.

Maia studied the other mare's body language: harsh, cautious, but non-threatening. Not a threat to a powerful, insane mare like herself at least. Sure, this mare had her beat on size, but Maia was almost certain she beat this mare on skill. Especially since they were surrounded by a blanket snow: one of the many key factors made of water that she was able to control. Whatever this other horses power was, she would surely be outmatched. Maia was not cocky, but she was aware that she did not have the will, or even the right mind, to stop herself from killing this horse at the first sign of trouble.
As Maia reached a comfortable distance, she slowed her pace to a halt. Her dark eyes connected with the Friesian's, and she held her lengthy stare just as the mare did. "I am Maia, bringer of chaos and destruction." her voice chimed out. In many territories she has passed through, many referred to her as this title. Word of the scars she left in land and the sadness she left in herds traveled through the lands before Maia had even reached them. "I am wandering as well, seeking out whatever- fun I might have in places like these." Maia sneered in an sharp tone.
The sound of light hooves caught Maia's attention, her ears shifting in the direction of the other horse. However she did not look in the direction to acknowledge the other horse's arrival in the area. If they wanted to cause trouble, or even just question their presence then they could find the courage approach the two mares themselves.

My body swung around to face her head on. 'Chaos and destruction' eh? We'll see how well she creates chaos when I boil her blood and cause unbareable pain to her being. Its an un ignorable pain and could easily kill her if I decided to boil it to the extent that it melted away every organ in her body like red lava. Crimson liquid. It seems she was also seeking fun. Well I was seeking some fun too and boiling someones blood sounds about as fun as it gets right now. Then the sound of hooves caught my attention. I'd heard the soaring of wind around his wings earlier but paid no heave.
"Well nows our chance, Maia, lets bring him to the ground." Honestly I didn't care if this horse heard me. The stallion was well defined and oddly handsome but nothing stopped me from being, well.. Me. Harsh, brutal, and cruel. If looks could kill both of the bitches would be dead by now.
Although I decided to give the snappy mare over there a chance. So instead of being harsh to her I walked closer. Aiming to siddle up next to her and bring down the large stallion far over there. I wasn't comfortable with his presense and the mare Maia probably didn't appreciate someone interupting our snarky conversation. So I expected her to go along with me or I'd just have to boil her blood and wait for her to side with me. Because I for one am not in the mood to be bossed around but rather I'd like to boss around someone else.
So as I made it to the blue mares side I turned to face the stallion head on. Eyes staring into his but my full attention was on Maia.

One could boil the blood deep within another’s veins causing the body to heat at an alarming rate while the other could manipulate water. Both very useful, powerful tools and yet together they might only cause a mere scratch. The horse body is made up of mostly water and like the mare that could boil blood that same blood held bits of water. Their fight would be interesting indeed to see which mare used her head and which relied on her strength of power. Now, Marrok knew nothing about their powers so all of this little tangent meant nothing at all. However, his own powers, now his own powers he new much about. Air manipulation, and while he was very weak against earthy and fire powers he could still pack one hell of a wallop. The very air they breathed was his to control, to rob them of each breath, to batter them with gale force winds that would easlly knock them off his mountain or lift them into the air only to send them flying off into the distance. Oh yes, he might look angelic but he was wicked and very cunning.
Slowly Marrok moved into view, his stature was confident and he oozed charm as sweetly as the song of a nightingale. Once or twice the herd he grew up in thought empathy was his power but clearly not. Once out in the open Marrok watched the two mares carefully, never allowing his head or body posture to denounce his claim to theses lands or show any aggression towards the females. Maybe he was just in a good mood and while Marrok was highly capable of said aggression he only used such measures when he was angry. Okay, so he liked to kill animals slowly and painfully, to watch the light drain from their eyes, that last breath of air that will forever remain within their lungs or until their bodies rot.
Now back to the two females at hand. Both stunning in their own right, maybe not as magnificent as some mares such as the female his brother once claimed as his. However, the two mares he looked at now was equally beautiful, maybe not as refined and Goddess like as his brothers one mate -- notice how Marrok can not even say her name -- and yet they captivated his attention. Mostly the large female and how she spoke to him. All he had to do with cut off their air supply and they would fall like rocks, push a fast, hard gust of wind at them and they would fly into the air with the same ease it takes him.
‘well now’s our chance, Maia, lets bring him to the ground’ He was about to speak but in stead the larger female muttered a simple word commanding him to speak. Almost seductively Marrok lent voice to words in an angels tone. “Now, now, what talk is that? Bringing down the stallion that rules theses lands, do you think that wise sweet ones.” Shadows from the moon cast lovingly against his pale white coat as he walked slowly to them, giving the two mares a full view of his muscled body, his large white angelic wings and dark almost empty eyes. Dipping his head low he uttered in that same rich, husky cadence. “I am Marrok, ruler of theses mountains and King of the skies. Who are the two of you and why do you tread on my lands, understand I am not telling you to leave, in fact I am very honored and amazed that you ventured to my land.” Marrok shuffled his massive wings, folding them tighter to his large frame and said calmly. “Is there anything I can help you with?”
