Table Help

Kay guys, lol, you've obviously come here for Table Help. Which I'll give to you to the best of my capability. For starters I use Photoshop CS5 Extended so my program is bound to look different than yours if they aren't the same program. Just look for something similar and go along. (If you feel to lazy, at anytime, you can just request a table from me in my Taylor's Studio thread here in the Artist's Corner.)
This is a step by step and I'm not a good teacher so sorry! <3


Step 1[/u]:
First off we have to make a new image all together. (if you're using an actual table image I'll be making a tutorial on that soon so be patient there, this is just a simple table tut)
Typically I start off with 500px X 500px the width maximum (without stretching the board and making it crappy is 500px, height you can choose) then click create/ok/go.

Step 2[/u]:
Now to fill in the background color. Go to your colors box and pick a color and make it the background.

After the backgrounds filled in grab the shape tools and pick the line. Make the color of that line the color you want and the thickness to your likings and then continue to put borders. (remember play around)

Step 3[/u]:
Once thats done we'll enter the text for your little table (its a pretty easy step and add a quote if it suites it)

Step 4[/u]:
Nows where it starts to get a bit more dificult. Right here is where you start cropping. As for the table images you will need three (top image=name part, middle image=repeated throughout table to make an extending table, bottom image=table closing image).
