Surely there were more of them? He couldn't be the only one? Muscles rippling and his dragon flying overhead he started traveling up a cliff. Rocks obscuring his path, mental images of whats ahead sent by Emarde, Sanslay decided to take it slower. Reaching the top of one he called back to his bonded with a loud neigh. Almost like sounding an alarm. 'I come Sanslay!' his serpant said sharply. Turning his wings hastily and rounding about to come in and land beside Sanslay. Wings folded up he jumped on a higher rock like a cat and waited for someone to show up. 'Sanslay, what business do we have here?' they telepathically conversed. "We come to make alliances or foes." .... 'Lets hope not foes, I'm more than happy to use my flames today.' .... "No need for that now." Sanslay said turning his head to his dragon giving a sharp look.
The quarter horse waited. Waited for a reply. Surely someone would figure that his call to his dragon was a call to them. And hopefully someone was close by. That'd save them some time to get back to home.
Emarde was becoming impatient. Jumping from his position on the rock to Sanslay's back. Claws grabbing for a reassuring balance. Although Emarde refused to draw blood from his 'father' ever. He never dug those sharp tallons into his bonded's skin, just those who Sanslay decided was worthy of such acts. But such terrible ways of living, Sanslay, did not approve of and so that meant dragon Emarde was never allowed to harm others unless he was to eat them. Like his prey of mice or smaller animals. Sometimes even the larger ones including deer.
[OOC- Havoc only please. Dodge instead of in the Basin or Ruins I thought I'd just have Sanslay 'journey' to his neighbors and try for an alliance here. Take your time replying, this thread doesn't have to be top priority just wanted to get it started.] "Speaketh"

The massive stallion had spent most of his morning sleeping away in the cave he used for shelter. Luckily this was no ordinary cave, even with the lack of sunlight, hard packed soil and even the cold weather coming in, there was a few lively bushes lining the entrance along with some green vegetation scattered inside the darkness. It seemed like he was just going to waste his day away today before the sounds of another horse on his land peeked his interest. Heading out of the green covered cave his golden eyes took a moment too adjust to the light. Golden black tipped ears flickered to find the noise and headed to the direction.
His large dish shaped hooves headed up the cliff from where the sounds bellowed slowly, being in no real hurry as some stray rocks fell off the side of his narrow pathway. The climb he took was a steep narrow path, not one a normal equine would wish to take any day though in his time here he had spent a lot of time wandering, finding every path through the area. This particular cliff had a few ways up, many much more easily travelled. Once he could see the other dun stallion standing in wait the large draft horse finally gave a nicker in reply to the call.
Eyes landing on the dragon he turned back to the other dun. ”Can I help you? These cliffs belong to me.” His voice was rough, showing a bit of dominance though just to show that this was his land. He had no wish to fight this intruder. This was a horse he had never seen before, it speared to him though that the other stallion meant no harm. He appeared more friendly than otherwise. Havoc nodded his head slightly, not quite sure what to think of this new horse, but he was forgiving enough. ”Pardon my manners, My name is Havoc.” His golden eyes watched the horse contently, clearly a bit humbled in his own. For Havoc was a gentle forgiving horse and this stallion had more than enough chance to make friends rather than start a fight.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i42.tinypic.com/2378de.png,true] The serpents flame's could build up large enough to crisp an elephant to a smoked elephant. Even though the dragon was only the size of a wolf he was more dangerous than not.
Sanslay was evidently annoyed with the fact that his soundings came unanswered. Easily the annoyance was pushed aside as a being arrived. Rather late to the scene. 'It takes a while to travel over rocks you know!' Emarde telepathically spat in defense of the other stallion. "Of course." Sanslay said thoughtfully. Now recognizing his pinned ears. Instantly they shot forwards towards the large beast still approaching.
The dragon immediately responded to Havoc's odd ram horns with interest. His eyes watching the horns curiously. As the reptile sat like a dog on Sanslay's wide muscular hind quarters. 'Are those horns?' quickly Sanslay slide his gaze from the others eyes to the ram horns "I believe they are?"
When words traveled from the massive stallions portal Sanslay's triangular, great proportioned, globes flicked forward tentively. "We come on good will. Its nice to meet you Havoc, I'm Sanslay and this is" the stallion flicked his head to the dragon "Emarde." The dragon gave a hum from his chest and continued to stare down the larger cream dun. His horns interested Emarde to the extent the dragon couldn't take it any longer. He jumped from his perch to the large rock that seperated the two stallions from each other. Crawling slowly to the front of Havoc.
"Pardon him, he's rather interested in those horns of yours, but back to the subject." the well muscled dun gave Havoc and cooled smile, no harm, "An alliance. I've come to see my fellow Amun's and neighbors. Would you mind being an Ally? Or is that out of consideration?" Sanslay said in a mellow tone. The tone was rather one hert. Odd and calm. Almost creepy.
Emarde's interest sparked again, after he had stopped next to the stallions neck staring up, 'Sanslay, can I touch them' the dragon sparked. Giving a rather onnery smile to Havoc. Havoc didn't know they were even having a conversation. He couldn't hear their telepathic communication. "Ask him yourself chicken! Haha." the unicorn spat harshly but still kind.
'Whatever you say!' the dragon gave a low chirp and then spoke in his low boyish tone 'Mind coming lower so I can see them things?'

[/i] the serpent said clearly to Havoc. Giving a paw of his claws as if he was itching at the air. He wanted to get up close and personal. Those damn things were absolutely interesting to him and Sanslay instead of holding him back and hearing about it later nonstop, let him go ahead and bug the other stallion. [ooc- Note* "Speak"=Sanslay talk | "Speak"[/i]=Emarde talk | 'Speak'=Emarde speaking telepathically | "Speak"=Sanslay speaking telepathically ((When they speak telepathically its only to each other.))] [/size][/color][/blockquote][/td][/tr][tr][td] [/td][/tr][/table][/center]

There was a bit of silent between the pair, though it seemed to Havoc that the horse and dragon spoke quietly together. That wasn’t too terribly odd to him, they would have been a bonded pair, he had seen something like it before. Though he had never seen a dragon before with his own eyes. The creature was interesting in its own and his golden eyes watched it for a moment before Sanslay spoke. He nodded his head as the stallion spoke of both of their names. ”Pleasure to meet you both.”
Golden brown eyes eyed the horse as he spoke about the dragon, but brushed it off as he spoke of an alliance. Nodding his head again his rather rough vocals spoke again. ”I see no harm in an alliance. Might be good to have some friends around here, you have land claimed?” He questioned the stallion out of curiosity not knowing they were indeed neighbors. Though the movement from the small dragon caught his attention it was when the small dragon spoke that Havoc’s head cocked to the side a bit as he listened. It wasn’t shocking to know the dragon could speak; maybe it was the way he spoke.
Lowering his head slowly to the dragon he gave some trust to the pair. ”Surely. They are heavy things.” It was true, the horns weighed quite a bit, though they grew over time and Havoc was well adjusted to carrying them. They grew a bit more year after year, though they had seemingly slowed after so long, they grew quickly as he did, though as he matured they only grew a bit by the seasons. He was proud of his horns, for he seemed to be surer of foot and the cliffs and rocks came to him much more easily than others. Though parts of the stallion knew he could alter the rocks it he wished, he could make the cliffs taller, steeper or level them, however he usually liked to keep the land the way it was.
It was as the stallion stood the barren ground came to life as it seemed, even with the cooling weather green grass started to sprout from the hard ground around Havoc’s feet. He was calm now and with his serenity the grass grew over any type of soil. The vegetation at his feet grew rather quickly, like right before their eyes it was several inches long and full of life. Though Havoc didn’t move to lower his lips to the ground he simply kept his head low for the odd little dragon to check out the horns adorning his skull.
(Sorry it sucks.)

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i42.tinypic.com/2378de.png,true] There was a gust of wind for a second that tickled Sanslay's chin hairs and the stallion shook his head in annoyance. Grateful for it was only a second of a blast.
Sanslay was close to speaking after the stallion but Havoc was already replying to Emarde. As the other creamy dun lowered his head the reptile let out a happy pur. 'What a nice fellow. Don't you agree Sanslay?' Emarde lovingly questioned the unicorn.
As soon as Havoc ended his sentence Sanslay spoke up evenly. "Yes I sure do. I'm over at the Horax Shores." clearly speaking with an odd tone of formality. He tried so hard to ignore the odd loving feelings coming from Emarde. Something about Havoc's horns had the little thing scurrying with joy and curiosity. The bonded dragon quickly lifted a paw, keeping his claws a safe distance from the skin, and poked at the horns. And then backed away and covered his face with a wing. To peek out a bit seconds later.
The serpent was playing a game. Either with Havoc, or his horns, seeing how far he could get. Instead the dragon unfolded both wings, uncovering his face, and leaped to the air. Circling low above Havoc. The large stallion could easily support his weight if the equally muscled stallion Sanslay could so the boy messaged his bonded 'Do you think he'd mind if I landed on him?' Sanslay quickly answered with a jerk of his head up to level with the flying bat. "I wouldn't count on it."
Instead of listening to him the dragon continued to lower himself. Staring at Havoc's face. Or his neck, just trying to get a look at the expressions of the stallion, and then gradually touched down lightly on the stallions haunches. Or he hoped he'd landed without getting a sheer buck. Sanslay's ears pinned as he moved his head and neck, leaning to the side to peer around Havoc, staring at the dragon who couldn't listen. "If he results in violence, I'm not helping you."

Large head turned a moment, golden brown eyes turning to the water that linked their homes, nodding his head as Sanslay spoke. ”A neighbor I see. Good to have friends close.” His head nodded slightly again, careful to keep his head down allowing the dragon to inspect his ram like horns. Lifting his head when he felt the dragon was done, watching him cover himself with his wings. Chuckling slightly when the dragon peeked out then leapt up into the air in a single bound. Unsure what to think of the creature quite yet eying him in the sky for a moment before turning back to the other dun stallion.
He took a moment to eye the horse up, he was muscular, though quite a bit shorter than he. Sanslay did seem nice enough and the fact the equine came to the cliffs seeking alliances made him a bit happy. Havoc was probably a good alliance to have, though he didn’t believe much in fighting, he didn’t wish to do any fighting unless he had too. Snapping out of his though as the dragon touched down on his haunches the draft stallion flinched a bit, looking back at the creature.
Shaking his head slightly he chuckled, the dragon had some weight but Havoc carried around half of that weight on his head daily. Looking back at the creature again he smiled. The dragon was a curious being, something of a bit of amusement. Havoc let his weight shift slightly, not to shoo the creature but to better comfort himself. The newly grown grass tickling at his hooves and feathers before he found himself settled once again. ”Testing out a higher perch?” The dun draft chuckled again taking the situation rather lightly. Finally turning back to other horse not letting the weight on his hindquarters bother him. ”Well Sanslay, you have an alliance with me. When I actually get a herd going I will be sure to let them know. For now I am alone, figuring out things, ready to build a herd of my own.” His voice spoke a bit softer now, still in the same rough tone that always carried his vocals.

I'll be making this post his very short leave post, or I hope I make it short.. *adjusts muse box*]
Sanslay leaned back on his hind quarters a bit, adjusting his weight to a comfortable position, he trusted the stallion in front of him and after Sanslay landed he didn't buck or become physically unstable. Emarde gave a simple pur to the other dun stallion he was now perched on, in return to Havoc's simple words.
Simply Sanslay, let out some low, kind tones "It's great to have some, friends, Havoc." he dipped his head slightly, "I hope your herd starts out greatly. Good luck to you and I hope in time we may become great friends." for them together would be unstopable. The buckskin colored dun turned his head and headed back down the cliff he came from. For he was on another adventure. To find Emarde a good, close, hunting ground to his home. "Come Emarde, we must depart."
The unicorn made it halfway down the slope when the dragon leapt from his perch, back to the rock, and gave the big fellow a friendly nudge to the leg. His scalley head, careful not to get the tips of his horns to close to skin, rubbing smoothly. The serpent let out a low screetch and took off to the skies to follow, and lead, Sanslay home. 'What a nice fellow. Eh Sanslay?' ... "Yes a very nice guy indeed."
