Appearance: Ether could be considered something of a beauty; he face is dished and delicate and she has large amber eyes that always have an energetic glint. Her neck is arched like an arab's. Her torso is long and full, practically begging to carry a foal (which hasn't happened yet). Her mane and tail are long but fine, and very straight, draping like the branches of a willow.
Her coat's base color is cremello. She has a chocolate brown dorsal stripe, and brown streaks in her mane and tail. There is a small cluster of brown dots between her eyes, and a band of brown around the knee of her right foreleg.

Personality: Ether is a dreamer. She prefers to dance through life and has no fear of death thanks to the friends she has on "the other side". Sometimes she will 'space out', much to the irritation of her companions. When this happens it is often because she is hearing a distant voice from the spirit world, or perhaps just fantasizing about one thing or another.
Ether has a great capacity for love, though that love tends to be rather fickle, at least when it comes to stallions. She loves foals quite a bit, and would probably make a great mother if she was given the opportunity.
Power: Spiritual medium; can speak to the spirits of the dead and summon willing spirits to assist her.

History: Ether's history is fairly unremarkable. She hasn't suffered any great tragedies, and her parents raised her with great love. She was born into the equivalent of a hippie commune: love, peace, wander the world free of cares and full of delight. The powers in the herd were mainly benign mental powers; there were magicians, fortune tellers, givers of bliss, and of course mediums like Ether herself. Therefor Ether's power, which may be considered odd or fake in another herd, was embraced in this one. She had "invisible friends" from a very young age and under the tutelage of her elders her talents grew. Soon she was able to summon "orbs" - the spirits of dead infants and small animals. Later it became more powerful spirits of deceased equines. She became able to give them slight physical properties: weight, strength.
Ether didn't leave her family herd until she was seven. She decided that it was time for her to become a mother, and there were no elligable bachelors in the herd.
