Her white wings beat endlessly and she began to do some pretty acrobatics in the sky. The landscape below her quickly changed as she passed different territories. Her acrobatics didn't bring her any sky friend so she decided to land.
Happiness pouring from her soul like a growing rainbow. Although the mare was exceptionally kind today she didn't feel up to being all yippy and high spirits. Today was an average day for her. So her landing on the ground around a few crumbled pillars was slow and sloppy. Her front feet landed and then with a thump her back ones hit ground. she refused to move and without hesitating the mare folded her wings up neatly and shoved her face to the earth.
Muzzle sniffing around for soft grass. Each spot that proved signs of what she longed for she opened her jaws and then clamped down. Chewing and swallowing. A normal process that came naturally. Like her healing power. That was all she knew anymore. How to heal and be kind. It was her life.
[ooc- Title says it all! Anyone's welcomed and encouraged to hit miss Jaelyn up with friends.. or haters ;) either is welcome!] "Speaketh"

Leitmotif’s pale nostrils were flared as wide as they could be to allow in as much air as possible. The young white stallion had been wandering the lands for nigh on two years, and he was certain he’d been in this very territory before; the ancient marble towers seemed very familiar, and he took a moment to gaze at them. It seemed sad, somehow, that something that had once been so magnificent should be reduced to such ruin, but then, that was surely the nature of time; nothing lasted forever.
Leit snorted quietly with amusement; he’d let himself get distracted again. He moved his head around, great golden eyes scanning his environ for fellow equines, though his sense of smell told him he would find none. It had been so long since he’d had a chance to communicate with his own kind. It seemed that all stallions saw him as a threat and all mares saw him as a danger, it was… depressing. Nevertheless, the plucky male refused to give up; he would find some friends away from his birth herd if it killed him.
Something in the sky caught his attention, and he looked up to see something that he at first assumed to be a very fast moving cloud, though he quickly realised that that was ridiculous. The shape quickly resolved itself into a mare flying ever lower, until she landed a short distance away from him. At first Leit was too surprised to move, for while the ability to fly was not unheard of, it was certainly not common, but once he’d gotten over his shock he struck instead by a strange nervousness. He was not usually shy, in fact the word couldn’t have applied to him less, but he’d been pushed away so many times since leaving his birth herd that he was afraid it would happen again. He couldn’t give up now though. He steeled himself, brushing aside his reservations, and approached. He didn’t think the mare, who was grazing now, had noticed him, so he nickered quietly to get her attention and then just stood there, feeling a little foolish, waiting for the winged female’s response.

If they were to try and hurt her she'd just heal herself again. After all she could heal those physically, mentally, and emotionally. It wasn't much of a task to her. Rather she enjoyed such powers and enjoyed helping others. The physical and mental pride it brought to her. It made her feel... Complete.
She flicked an ear to the stallion as she inhaled through her nostrils. Grabbing a string of his scent through the strong smell of sweet grass. When he nickered though she merely snorted turned her head and then went back to eating. Although she did slowly back up to where he was. Her arabian shape elegantly swaying to her odd footing. She lifted her left wing and slightly nudged the stallion with it playfully. Hoping he didn't pull away. She'd love to play a little game today or have a nice talk. She flicked her black eyes to his as she pulled up her beautiful neck. Head turning to meet his gaze.
She continued to chew, finsihing her last bite, before swallowing slowly. Her eyes looked almost as if they sparkle and shine with love and compassion. Her obvious show of likings to having someone around. Even though he was a stallion she enjoyed the pretty mans company. He was rather odd in shape, she'd never met someone so proportioned nicely, without bulging attractive muscles. Even without the muscles he was attractive. Not so much that she had feelings she just thought him a cutie. Jaelyn's not the type to be in love with someone. She believes of love as being kind to everyone.
So she figures everyone's her love. Ending her swallow she began to speak quietly "I'm Jaelyn, healer of the Horax Shores." she smiled pausing slightly "Its very nice to meet you!" there she went again all excited and spiting happiness. It was Jaelyn and no one 'could' or 'should' change that. It'd be a terrible thing.

Leitmotif shifted his weight from side to side as he waited for the winged mare’s response. He smiled with a little trepidation as she snorted in response to his wordless greeting; it wasn’t quite the friendly welcome he’d hoped for, but it was far better than her running away as soon as she saw him. By her relaxed attitude, he guessed that she was less flighty than a lot of other females Leit had run across on his travels. He cocked his head to side curiously as she began backing up towards him, a little bemused by this unusual behaviour, but he guessed it could hardly be a bad sign. He admired her slender graceful form, but he pushed his more base emotions down; he wasn’t going to let them destroy his chances of making friends.
He stepped to the side as her feathered wing brushed into him, snorting a little. He wasn’t quite sure what she was doing, but he smiled anyway, the expression becoming more genuine when she turned to look at him and he saw the warmth and happiness in her eyes. He could see already that she wasn’t like the other equines he’d met on his travels; she was friendly and kind, and hopefully would stop and offer him some company for a while. He paused then, reminding himself that he hadn’t even spoken to her yet and he shouldn’t be making assumptions.
When the mare did finally speak, Leit felt oddly as if a great weight had been lifted off his shoulders; he’d been so afraid that she would try to tell him to go away that the fact that she was actually being nice was a great relief. It had been too long, he decided, since he’d met someone kind. “Nice to meet you too.” He said warmly, “I’m Leitmotif. Uh, I don’t really have a home.” His tone was friendly and open, though there was an uncharacteristic hesitancy. He still wasn’t quite as sure of himself as he usually was, and it would take a little time for him to feel himself again. He grinned nevertheless, his golden eyes a-glitter.

It was nice to see someone returning the favor of kindness when she whored it out. When he returned some warm words Jaelyn decided he was doing her a favor of companionship for awhile. Atleast she'd make a friend, and hopefully for life, while after he left she'd be alone again. So she'd make the time now last.
"Leitmotif, nice name, if you'd like you can come home with me! Sanslay would love some more people under his wing. He's a great king and your free to do as you wish under his rule!" she said exicitedly. Waiting for a reply. Reaching out her muzzle to touch his cheek gently and then pull away to squeal in excitement and dance sideways. Sanslay really did let you do what you wish. After all he only had two simple rules. Respect him and he'll respect you, that one was just common sense, and respect the beaches and they'll protect you. Thats all he asked for.
Flapping her wings like a greeting she shifted to the left after she'd stopped dancing sideways. "How have you been!" she was so excited that someone was there. Her tones always warm and welcoming. She batted her white eyelashes and then smiled brightly. Waiting for his response.

The winged mare, Jaelyn, seemed so full of happiness that Leitmotif found it rather contagious. He still found her behaviour a little odd, but he guessed that that was just the way she was, and he should just enjoy it. It was rare to find someone so full of goodwill. He found himself grinning with the same joyous excitement that she was displaying, and he felt the last of his nervousness wash away as a certain energy filtered into his limbs, making him want to gallop and buck like a yearling colt. It wasn’t just Jaelyn’s influence making him so joyful, however; he had finally accepted that the mare meant him no harm nor thought he meant her harm, and so he could at last relax in her presence.
Even so, her offer took him somewhat by surprise. In his excited state, the response that jumped to mind first was an emphatic yes, but before he could say anything a not of caution entered his brain, and he paused, struck by indecision. On one hand, he wanted nothing more than to settle down, to end the many months of lonely wandering he had suffered through, but on the other, he’d been chased out of herd lands so often that he’d simply started to avoid them, despite what that meant for his chances of finding a home. The thought of this king, Sanslay, that Jaelyn had mentioned letting live as he pleased in his lands seemed almost too good to be true, but then, why would Jaelyn lie? Eventually he decided to accept her words, and a slow smile spread across his face, “Well, if you’re sure your king would allow it… I- I’d be honoured!” His grin returned in force, and he followed the mare’s actions as she began her sideways dance, his high steps giving the movement a flashy air.
He stopped when she stopped, and swung his head around to scratch at a patch of his withers with the tip of one of his forward-facing horns. He sighed happily, calming down. At Jaelyn’s question, he rolled his shoulders in a shrug. “Eh, not bad in terms of health,” He said conversationally, though his tone became a little darker as he continued, “But I’ve been herdless for a while now, and well, it’s a bit lonely.” He smiled again then, “But then it seems I may have a herd soon! What about you though, have you been with this Sanslay long?”

"He'd love for you to come home to us! I'll show you home but I'd like to have some fun first eh?" she said flaring her wings again. Flapping them gently sending breeze to him.
As he reached his head back Jaelyn cocked her head curiously to watch him use his horn as a scratcher. The mare shifted her weight again to the left, leaning in towards him for closure, with-drawing her wings back to fold up neatly. Shaking her skin from a brutally cool winter breeze that passed quickly. "That seems terrible to be alone for so long... I can promise you someone will always greet you smiley on the Shores, or atleast I will." she smiled politely. "As for Sanslay's part, I've recently just joined this kind stallions harem. It's great there. I feel nothing but love and kindness from him, he must be a true hero." she said as her black orbes gradually got bigger and her voice louder and more excited.
"I bet you're a hero!" she said giving him a sarcastic twitch of her head and a raised eyebrow. "To someone atleast." she giggled slightly. She was ready to run off with Leitmotif and buck and kick. Grin and run. Happiness was never forever and she always hoped to make the best of it.
[ooc- Sanslay allows his members to invite others to his harem and from what I gathered here Leitmotif decided to go ahead and be with them so I added him to the list ;) also if you want him to meet Sanslay let me know :D]

Leit released his pent up breath when Jaelyn assured him again that he would be welcome at her home. It still all seemed a little too good to be true. Thank the stars he’d happened to run into this bonny mare that day, or else he would still be trudging alone without hope of finding a family. He chuckled softly when she suggested having some fun before going to his new home. The suggestion pleased him, partly because it had been a while since he’d allowed himself to just enjoy life and partly because it would give him some time to compose himself before travelling to the new land and, assumedly, meeting his new king.
“Alright, how about a race?” he suggested, his eyes sparkling. He wasn’t exactly sure what sort of thing Jaelyn had in mind, but there wasn’t any harm in suggesting a nice harmless race. Leit wasn’t even sure who would win such a contest, for while he was a fairly fast runner, her slender body looked made for running, and she was lighter than him. He cocked his head to the side, “But you’re not allowed to fly,” He warned, his voice coloured by warm amusement, “That wouldn’t be fair.”
He too felt the sudden winter breeze, and automatically narrowed his eyes against it. He noticed that Jaelyn looked cold, shaking a little, and he moved to position himself so that he served as an at least partial wind block. He liked to think of himself as something of a knight in shining armour, and with that came a great deal of chivalry. He reached out his nose to touch her gently on the shoulder when she assured him that he would never be alone again, grateful. “Thank you,” He said sincerely, sounding more serious than normal, though he quickly returned to his usual laid-back self.
He glanced curiously at the mare as she described her king, noting how very clearly fond of him she was. He wondered if they were mates, the word harem certainly suggested so, or if her affection was simply adoration.
He snorted with amusement when she described him as a hero. “Hardly,” He chuckled, “I don’t know enough horses to be anyone’s hero.” Nevertheless the thought appealed to him, and he decided that one day he would have to earn the title.
OOC: Thanks! And yes, I would like him to meet Sanslay if possible; Leit likes to do things properly XD [/blockquote]

"No flying." she said with a nod and okay tone.
When the breeze hit though the kind stallion lept into place and blocked most of it. Leaving her wondering why such a new comer, well although he now was a part of the family, would do such a thing for an oddly happy mare. But she made no objections to his gesture and rather stared him down with a thank you gleam. "Nah.. Thank you!" she smiled warmly.
Although her suggestion of being a hero was refused by him. "But we're all hero's in our own way. No matter what we've done in our lives something will make us a hero." she said smiling. Pointing her ears his way "Until the day you become the 'hero' your thinking of how about racing me?!" she said excitedly. Words fumbling out of her mouth crazily. She talked odd when she got excited.

Leit grinned as the winged mare thanked him, feeling rather pleased with himself for helping a lady in distress, if very mild distress. “Ah, don’t mention it,” He said with another rolling shrug, as if it was no big deal, though now that he was taking the brunt of the wind, he had to admit that it was fairly cold. He guessed that was what he ought to expect though, what with winter now upon them, and he resisted the urge to shiver; he didn’t want to looks fragile in front of Jaelyn, unusual though she might be.
He chuckled as she insisted in his apparent heroism, rather flattered even if he didn’t share her opinion. He believed that a hero was someone who had done something to save the life of many others, and become famous for it, and he had never done anything of the sort. He smiled nevertheless, “I hope you’re right.” Was all he said, not wanting to contradict the lovely, bubbly female before him for fear of spoiling her good mood.
He brightened when she returned to the topic of racing, and his smile split into a broad grin. “Sure thing,” He answered, happiness rumbling in his voice. “Okay, see that big bit of ruin over there? The one shaped kind of like a bird’s head?” He gestured with his nose in the direction of a rough looking boulder that had what could conceivably be described as a beak attached to one side. “How about we race from here to there, first one past wins?” The rock was a fairly short way away, short enough that Jaelyn ought to be able to use her speed to her advantage without worrying about tiring out. He paused then, waiting for her accord.
OOC: No worries, thing's are pretty hectic my end too =P [/blockquote]
